If you could change one important thing about your hometown, what would you change?

Change is the Law or nature” so changes are inevitable. As for me, if I could change one thing about my hometown, I think it would be the fact that there is no sense of community here. People have no feeling of connected; they never look out for one another. Finally, they never know their neighbors. However this hides many causes behind.
The first and foremost reason that generates the absence of sense of community is no permanency in their profession, because they change jobs frequently and move on due [0 various purposes. This means they never get rooted in the community; they do not join community organizations and are not willing to get involved in trying to improve the quality of life. Additionally, they do not get involved in improving the schools because they think that quality of education is not of uttermost importance to their lives.
Moreover, People in my hometown do not try to support others around them, due to not keeping a friendly eye on their children. They are not aware when people around them may be going through a hard time. For example, they may not know if a neighbor loses a loved one participating in their sorrow remains far away.
So, at first I would love to begin this change from house itself, just as saying goes “charity begins at home” to improve such worse situation at my hometown. Secondly, I would get youth motivated to combat against this rooted problem because society depends on the shoulders of youngsters.
To conclude, my hometown is a nice place to live in many ways. but” it would be much nice if w had that sense of community.
