In many countries today, the eating habits and lifestyle of children are different from those of previous generations. Some people say this has had a negative effect on their health.

It has recently been suggested that the way children eat and live now days has led to deterioration in their health. I entirely agree with this view, and believe that this alarming situation has come about for several reasons.
To begin with, there is increase in the amount of fast food that children are eating at food stand and all other outer places, with little or none of the fresh fruit and vegetable that earlier generation ate every day. What they eat there is extremely high in fat, salt and sugar, alt of which can be damaging to their health.
There is also a disturbing decline in the amount of exercise they get, because children are spending far more time at home, playing computer games, watching TV or surfing the internet. They no longer play outside with friends or take part in challenging outdoor activates.
However, this new trend had made many bed effects on children, the first and foremost, it makes worse impacts on the health and cause many disease such as heart related, obesity and so on. Moreover, this confines their mentality of getting along, behaving and communicating with all other, because they never move out and interact in the society. Finally even their proper physical growth also comes under torment as the living and eating habits of today’s children have changed.
